To support our growing number of projects with high quality, we are currently looking for an experienced and talented Regional Field Coordinator. Do you have a strong sense for coordination, safety and technical work? Do you want to contribute every day to the safe management of an important underground pipeline network? Your Role

As a Regional Field Coordinator, you are partly operationally active yourself and ensure every day that the uninterrupted position and integrity of the underground pipelines are guaranteed: by supervising contractors and verifying safety agreements, by performing periodic visual inspections, and by ensuring that the above‑ground visibility of the pipeline route is maintained.

In addition, the Regional Field Coordinator assists and guides colleagues in carrying out the above-mentioned activities. You maintain oversight of all activities, act as a discussion partner for the team leader and clients, and ensure that customer agreements are fulfilled.

Your work area is mainly located in the regions of Antwerp and East Flanders (e.g. Port of Antwerp, Port of Ghent, Zelzate, Terneuzen, …).

In this role, you have a very diverse set of tasks with broad responsibilities.

Operational Tasks

  • Performing zone inspections by car

  • Informing contractors, authorities and landowners about applicable legislation and preparing the necessary permits

  • Detecting pipelines under our management using specialised equipment and marking them on site

  • Attending site meetings and coordinating with contractors

  • Surveying exposed pipelines using GPS

  • Tunnel inspections


Coordination & Planning

  • Planning and directing inspectors and operators for works, inspections and projects

  • Assessing plans for specific projects such as drillings, pressings, roadworks, …

  • Planning and performing quality controls (Quality Audits and workplace inspections)

  • Proactively contacting contractors regarding their KLIP/KLIC notifications


Communication

  • Acting as the first point of contact for contractors and clients

  • Informing landowners and local residents

  • Preparing and leading toolbox meetings, annual client reviews, …


Administration & Reporting

  • Reviewing site reports prepared by our pipeline inspectors and delivering them to clients

  • Preparing periodic client reports

  • Requesting and processing urban planning permits

  • Document management according to ISO procedures

  • Requesting quotations and preparing specific projects

  • Reviewing execution plans

  • Processing helicopter inspection reports


Safety & Inspection

  • Identifying and reporting unsafe situations

  • Contributing ideas on how to prevent or resolve unsafe situations


Team & Knowledge Sharing

  • Providing practical training to new colleagues

  • Contributing to periodic meetings with team leaders, regional coordinators and planning staff

  • Actively thinking about improvements and financial opportunities for clients


Who We're Looking For

  • You have a technical background or experience in utility lines, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

  • You are proactive, communicate clearly, and have strong administrative skills.

  • You can work autonomously and also functionally lead a team.

  • You have a sense of safety and risk management.

  • Experience with planning, reporting, and customer contacts is a must in this role.

  • As a person you are someone with a proactive and positive attitude. You act decisively and have a curious mindset.

  • Dutch and English are no problem for you, both orally and in writing. You enjoy a challenging role with significant responsibilities.

On-site: Mainly in the Antwerp and Ghent regions, covering from Rotterdam to the Walloon border. Coordination from the Intero – The Sniffers headquarters in Balen, Belgium.
