Intero - The Sniffers, headquartered in Belgium, is an independent service provider specialized in detecting, identifying, and monitoring leaks in oil and gas pipelines and industrial installations. We also advise our clients on emission reduction, energy losses, and pipeline integrity.
Intero - The Sniffers is a growing organization with over 170 employees worldwide. We provide high-quality services to clients in the oil, gas, and chemical industries.
Your main responsibilities
On a daily basis, you work in the field: performing checks in a specific region.
You mainly work in public spaces, whether urban or rural. You trace buried pipelines and distribution networks, searching for possible leaks and losses. You take measurements, locate them, and write a clear and detailed technical report.
Inspections are carried out either with a specially equipped vehicle or on foot with the necessary equipment, depending on the requirements of the assigned project.
You report your inspections and measurements via PC or tablet, using specific internal software.
We will provide training in natural gas, gas leak detection, and how to use our equipment.
Job requirements
Profile sought
You have a strong technical affinity.
Previous experience in gas leak detection or working in a technical environment is a definite asset.
You are in good physical condition and have good orientation skills.
You are geographically flexible.
You have a positive and motivated work attitude, can work independently while meeting deadlines and safety standards.
You have a good general knowledge of computing (MS Office) and are eager to learn new systems and methods.
Driver's license B is essential.
You are a French speaker
Proficiency in English is a plus.
Holding a security certificate is an asset.
Most of your work takes place in your region or surrounding regions. You may be required to spend one or more nights away from home (we try to limit these as much as possible).
