To strengthen our position in the market and to support our strategic growth by launching new services and accessing new verticals, we are seeking a passionate and proactive Innovation & Advisory Expert (m/f/x) .
Your position
In this role, you will combine technical expertise, innovation, and client advisory. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to develop and deliver solutions focused on emissions reduction, regulatory compliance, and technology scouting. You will identify emerging technologies, manage advisory projects, and ensure high-quality service delivery support projects, analyze data, prepare advisory reports, and represent Intero – The Sniffers as a trusted advisor in the industry.
Key Responsibilities include:
Technology Scouting & Innovation
Identify and assess newemerging technologies such as drones, (fixed) sensors, and, satellites applications, data platforms.
Support pilot projects and case studies for emission reduction solutions.
Contribute to new product and service development, including hydrogen and data management (e.g., AI/ML) and process improvements.
Establish partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and regulatory bodies.
Project Execution & Support
Contribute to innovation and advisory projects (e.g., OGMP, MRV, GHG reporting, emission reduction pilots).
Deliver high-quality technical input and ensure accurate, actionable results.
Collaborate with internal experts to optimize project outcomes.
Advisory Services
Advise clients on emissions reduction strategies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Translate complex regulations into practical, workable solutions.
PrepareDeliver advisory reports and recommendations based on data analysis to improve emission monitoring and reduction.
Contribute to the expansion towards additional advisory services.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze project data from diverse sources for compliance with OGMP, MRV, and GHG frameworks.
Deploy enhanced data analysis practices, especially related to sampling, extrapolation and uncertainty
Prepare clear, accurate client reports and improve reporting processesbased on robust and defendable data acquisition and processing.

Job requirements
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in emissions reduction, sustainability, or regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of OGMP, MRV, and GHG protocols.
Familiarity with emerging monitoring technologies (drones, sensors, softwaredata management).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex topics into clear advice.
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
